Brookfarm is taking preliminary orders to get on a wait list with Schacht. We anticipate the Sidekick to be very popular and the potential for a backlog on deliveries once they are released for production.

Here are some of the Sidekick’s features:

1. •Folds to 21 1/2" x 15" x 8 1/4".Integrated storage of bobbins, flyer, and whorls for transport.
   

2. •Lightweight at 13 pounds.13 3/4" drive wheel allows for ratios between 4.25 and 15.25.
   

3. •Long, comfortable treadles.
   

4. •Uses the same bobbins, whorls and flyer as the Schacht Matchless and Ladybug wheels.
   

5. •The Sidekick can be purchased without the bobbin-flyer assembly.25" orifice height for comfortable spinning.
   

6. •Employs Scotch tension with precise control knob. 
   

7. •The drive wheel spins on ball bearings.
   

8. •The flyer turns on self-aligning bearings.
   

9. •Drive band tension adjuster allows for all whorls to be used with one drive band.
   

10. •The Sidekick comes with 3 bobbins, 2 whorls, threading hook, and carrying strap.
